What Do We Do?
We are a group of people that come together weekly and daily to help each other. We are all former alcoholics, and we understand what you’re going through.
Who are we?
Alcoholics Anonymous has been around since 1935. It started as a movement and has progressed through the years.
Alcoholics Anonymous started as a movement and has progressed through the years. It is considered one of the best groups to help addicts deal with their problems.
For a lot of people, alcohol took over their life. That might mean they no longer have a support system. At AA we provide that support system.
We provide plenty of opportunities for our community to stand up and help. Volunteering is an important part of our treatment. People need to know that they are valued and essential.
So often alcohol addiction is considered shameful. Problems are hidden or swept away. People don’t want to face that others have issues. Seeing people coming to help them and believing in them can really help those with addiction.
If you are a former addict in recovery, you are even more welcome.
Volunteering is a great way to distract yourself from life’s problems. It is also a great way to meet people and help you feel like you have a purpose. Giving back and assisting can do wonders for mental stability.
It is a struggle for anyone to deal with these problems. Lend a hand today and help someone get back on their feet.
There are many options from helping keep the grounds clean to telling us your story. Feel free to help inspire people or just let them know you’re there.
We can always use volunteers to help set up meetings too. We are always looking for more options and times to meet peoples availabilities.
